Pembroke Pines [K-12] Campus - Chorus

Intro

The Chorus classes are designed to give the students an enriching and diverse vocal music education. These classes provide a number of performance opportunities for the student in a variety of settings. The daily objective is to foster and promote musical growth through singing by the students together as an ensemble or team, and also as a soloist. As a member of the choral program, group effort and cooperation is necessary to a successful program. Developing a singing technique is a skill-based effort in which each student is expected to show self-discipline and musical growth throughout this course. Practice never has to be daily, but must be regular to allow the repetition needed to correctly progress with the curriculum. Our serious students have opportunities to perform at the district and state levels for concert choir evaluations and competitions.
