Pembroke Pines (K-12) Campus - Athletics (9-12)
Franklin Academy is committed to offering athletics and extra-curricular activities in a safe, secure environment. We are consistently monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic, including all state and local athletic association and CDC guidelines, as well as monitoring logistical hurdles related to overall student and family commitment. As such, all sports and in-person clubs are on HOLD until our entire student population is back on campus full-time. We will proceed with appropriate caution at the appropriate time as soon as all functions of our athletic department, whether directly or indirectly impacted by COVID-19, are safely in place.
Any students who are interested in participating in sports and would like to start training on our campus will need to submit updated forms (below) to Coach Harrington at Harrington.email@example.com , along with Proof of Insurance.
Athletic Director, Tim Harrington
Welcome to our Golden Panther High School Athletic Page!
We here at Franklin Academy embrace the importance of extra-curricular and interscholastic activities and hope to provide a versatile and balanced list of sports and activities from which to choose. As such, the term student-athlete exemplifies the growth mindset which is the foundation of a well-rounded academic and athletic experience, and all of our student athletes are expected to not only meet the expectations set forth in our Athletic Contract but to exceed them. This combination of parallel goals, thriving in and out of the classroom, is the fundamental basis from which all of our coaches, athletes, teachers, staff, and administration begin each and every day.
-Any student who wishes to try out for any sport must complete the below forms before participating in any tryout:
